Our darling Shazzy |

|
Darling Edison met with a tragic accident and left us at the tender age of one. He was beautiful and smart and was well-loved by his owners --Debbie and Bob Ross. Despite the heartache of losing Edison, Debbie and Bob are honoring his memory by loving a new puppy they named Baci. |

Shazzy-girl -- what can I say. You came to me when I was going through a very tough personal time and because you were there, I had to stay active (that's an understatement) and I had to laugh because you were always providing me with entertainment. You gave me a run for my money, as they say, always into something but oh how you loved life. |

Our beautiful Tiara taken from us too soon. We will write more as soon as we get our breath back from this stunning, unexpected loss. |

It's been awhile now and still I am stunned, still I cry. Anyone who knew Tiara would understand. I love all my dogs for different reasons. Tiara was unique in several ways. Not only beautiful (she finished her championship in five straight wins). She was very interactive, and usually quite upset that I couldn't quite have a real discussion with her. She was demanding and very dramatic -- my mother called her the Queen Mum and my vet called her Miss Hollywood. I tried to stay a step ahead of her but failed. One time she was so upset that I didn't understand her, that she threw herself on the refrigerator, up on her hind legs and started smacking it as if to say, "The cheese is in there…" Sometimes, I'd look at her and see in her eyes that she was up to something and I'd say - don't even think it. She was a great mother - on par with Lulu -- Tiara would look at me when I picked up a baby and say - put it back and let me do my job - I know what I'm doing. She would get out of the box and try to get a puppy out of my hands!! Then when they were older, she would teach them things like how to dig -- I witnessed her in action doing that. But the funniest thing was how she would run at her babies when they were outside. They'd would see momma coming and flatten themselves or get rolled and they did it when adults too. Of course one of my favorite memories is how she would come to me for her "hug" -- put her head in my lap and make noises while I rubbed her head, face and ears. Sweet. How I miss her. Tiara had four big litters -- see some of children on her page |
